Customer Reviews:
1 out of 5 stars Linux based computers have poor warranty support.   September 6, 2009

Last year, I purchased a linux based ASUS Eee 4g computer at Best Buy. It came with a 4gig hard drive with only 75megs of free
space. That's right, the disk was 98.8% full. I called the ASUS warranty number and went through several techs.
Their final statement to me was "there is nothing that we can do". When I called back again, they refused to answer their
phones. Not being able to get a physical address for their office, I have gotten no help. There is no way to delete
unecessary programs from a Linux based computer. I threw away $329 and Best Buy says it can't help either because I did
not buy their extended warranty.

I do not recommend ASUS products.
